In among the over-sized books in Howard Gardens library is a book – chunky but with an unassuming plain cover.
On the spine is the single word . . . . . . . . .
‘What does your soul look like?‘ is the opening line of the foreword. The writer invites you to take a pencil and a sheet of paper and draw it. ‘This is what Soul has been asking people to do since 1999 and this book is a selection of the inspired answers to this impossible question’.
The drawings are reproduced to their actual size, and have been arranged chronologically from the youngest participant to the oldest.
