Two new books . . . .

post pop  Post Pop: East Meets West “…is devoted to the artists who, while influenced by Pop Art, did not become constrained by its core principle; who perceived Pop Art as a method and meta-language, rather than a style”. This publication accompanies the exhibition of the same name held at the Saatchi Gallery from November 2014 – March 2015.

reconnecting cultures  Reconnecting Cultures: The Architecture of Rocco Design: Reconnecting Cultures considers Rocco Design Architects’ approach to the different contexts in which the practice works, by showcasing projects developed both in mainland China and Hong Kong, where different aesthetic and architectural strategies are employed to respond to disparate cultural and physical landscapes.

These are currently on display – with many other lovely new books – on the 2nd floor of Llandaff library.  They’ll be there until 28th October after which time they can be borrowed.  If you follow the links to the library catalogue SUMMON you will be able to reserve them.
